Jack Moody LCE Limited have a vacancy for a Small Plant Fitter. As a Small Tools Fitter, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our busy site with responsibility for servicing and maintaining a variety of small tools including 2/4 stroke petrol tools, lawnmowers, a range of electrical tools, grinders and strimmers to ensure our Landscaping Division service our contracted customers.

Responsibilities will include:

• You will ensure all small plant and equipment is turned and kept in good condition;
• Assess cause of breakdown
• Ensure parts are ordered and fitted as quickly as possible
• Keep order books and job cards up to date;
• Ensure that plant is regularly serviced and recorded correctly onto the plant system
• Keep workshop clean, tidy and safe
• Keep stores tidy and ensure all parts are booked out

Required:

• A minimum of 4 years mechanical experience or a relevant mechanical/electrical qualification
• Significant experience in petrol and diesel contractor tools/engines/carburettors servicing and maintenance
• Experience working with engines, transmissions and hydraulics
• Experience in servicing ground care equipment, ride on tractors and smaller type mowers
• Good customer service and IT skills are required
• The ability to plan your workload and meet time deadlines
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and on your own
• A full clean driving licence is essential

Salary/hours:

This is a full-time position of 45 hours per week, ideally 6.30am – 4.30pm

20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

£30,000pa
