Jack Moody Group was delighted to host the BALI Midlands Regional Event at our head office, welcoming landscaping and horticulture professionals for a day of industry insight, networking and knowledge sharing.
As a long-established UK commercial landscaping business, we were pleased to open our doors to fellow professionals from across the industry and share more about our business, our history and our plans for the future.
The event provided an opportunity to bring people together, exchange ideas and showcase some of the work that takes place across the Jack Moody Group.
Sharing the Jack Moody Group story
One of the highlights of the day was a presentation about the group, covering our journey from our beginnings in 1963 through to the commercial landscaping business we are today.
Guests heard more about our history, the development of the business and the values that have helped shape us over the years, as well as our vision and ambitions for the future.
As a family business, our history remains an important part of who we are. However, the landscaping industry has changed significantly since we began and continuing to evolve alongside the industry is an important part of our future.
The event gave us a great opportunity to share our passion for the business and talk about the direction we see Jack Moody Group heading in the years ahead.
Industry insight from Perennial and APHA
We were also pleased to welcome Kate from Perennial and Simeon from APHA, who delivered presentations about their respective organisations, the services they provide and the support available within the landscaping and horticulture industry.
Their presentations provided valuable insight into the wider UK landscaping industry, giving attendees the opportunity to learn more about the organisations and resources available to businesses and individuals working within the sector.

Tour of our commercial plant nursery
The event also included a tour of the Jack Moody Group on-site nursery and garden centre, giving attendees the opportunity to see another important part of our business.
Our nursery plays an important role in supporting our commercial landscaping operations, providing access to a wide range of plants and horticultural stock.
The tour offered a behind-the-scenes look at the nursery and an opportunity for visitors to see the scale and variety of the site while learning more about how it supports our wider landscaping services.
Connecting the landscaping industry
Alongside the presentations and nursery tour, the BALI Midlands Regional Event provided plenty of time for networking and knowledge sharing.
Bringing together people from different areas of the landscaping and horticulture sector creates valuable opportunities to share experiences, discuss industry challenges and build new connections.
For us, it was particularly enjoyable to welcome familiar faces while also meeting new people from across the Midlands landscaping industry.
There was also plenty of coffee, cake and conversation throughout the day — an essential part of any successful event!
