Founded by Jack Moody in 1963, our company has grown and developed over the years to become one of the UK’s leading providers of landscaping and maintenance services for the construction, maintenance and environment industries. Businesses within the group include the award-winning Jack Moody Landscaping and one of the UK’s largest garden centres at our Hollybush Farm headquarters in Staffordshire, where we grow and maintain over one million plants, shrubs and trees.
Company first registered as domestic landscaping business. Jack passed his driving test and brought his first van, a Morris Minor
First business premises purchased in Brunswick Park Road, Wednesbury, doubled his workforce and bought his first pick-up
Became a founder member of BALI, the British Association of Landscape Industries
Jack Moody accepted onto a Council’s approved contractor list and wins its first major contracts for Walsall Council, installing two football pitches
Wednesbury Fencing was formed as part of a practical expansion
Jack Moody Landscaping became a Limited Company, staff number expanded and the business moved to the present site Hollybush Farm
A garden centre is opened at the Hollybush Farm site
A small nursery was added to the group of companies, Woodbridge Nurseries in Oxfordshire
Won the Grand Award in the BALI National Landscape Awards for landscaping at Sun Alliance Insurance Office, Snow Hill, Birmingham
New investment in vehicles and machinery for the ever expanding landscaping function

Established in 1963, Jack Moody Landscaping is today a leading name in the provision of landscaping solutions for local authorities, developers, contractors, architects and domestic clients. With expertise in both hard and soft landscaping and an established reputation for horticultural knowledge, services range from design through to infrastructure planting and after-care.
Established in 1988 to supply high quality plants and trees for clients, our nursery has expanded to meet demand, today growing and maintaining over one million plants, shrubs and trees. Still based at our Hollybush Farm headquarters in Staffordshire, our professional horticulture team has a reputation for their knowledge and expertise.
Our Garden Centre and Aquaria forms the retail arm of Jack Moody Group, drawing on our extensive horticultural expertise to offer a huge range of top quality plants, garden products, aquatics and pets, available to the general public via our retail outlets, online store and to trade via our cash & carry nursery.
The Jack Moody Group is a key industry voice in the sectors within which we operate in, participating and contributing to many influential industry bodies, such as the Renewable Energy Association (REA) and British Association of Landscape Industries.
Committed to a programme of sustainability, our state-of-the-art recycling centres support ‘zero to landfill’ policies, providing green recycling facilities for local authorities and contractors and 100% recycled peat-free materials for landscaping schemes. We continue to invest in the renewables market, researching and developing ground-breaking new techniques and processes.
We support the environment by growing and maintaining over 1 million plants, shrubs and trees each year, ensuring we meet the highest quality standards and are able to fully supply our clients’ requirements. We also utilise solar and wind power, recycled fuels and our own transport to reduce our carbon footprint, and our business is ISO 14001, 9001 and 45001 accredited.
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility charter, we employ local labour, utilise a local supply chain and use direct labour on all work we undertake. To further support our local communities, we create apprenticeships and run a charitable foundation. By working collaboratively with clients, we aim to deliver a service that adds value to the community and the environment.
