On Friday 6th December, Jack Moody Group celebrated a remarkable achievement at the prestigious BALI National Landscape Awards, hosted at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London. The team proudly received two awards, underscoring their dedication to excellence and innovation in the landscaping industry.
Award-Winning Hard Landscaping at The Harborne Hospital
Jack Moody Group claimed the top spot in the Hard Landscaping Construction (Non-Domestic) Under £500k category for their outstanding work at The Harborne Hospital, a £100 million, 14,000-square-meter specialist medical facility in Birmingham. Not only did this project win its category, but it also received the prestigious Principal Award.
This project transformed the exterior of the hospital into a functional and visually striking space. Key hardscaping elements included granite setts and flags, which provided robust yet elegant surfaces, and gravel areas that added texture and enhanced water permeability—a sustainable water management solution.
The judges praised the project, stating: “The care and attention to detail demonstrated by the contractor is evident across this pleasing scheme. Awkward levels have been mastered, and the paving, slit drains, and cutting in executed with precision. The result is a polished, pleasing hard landscaping aesthetic that fully reflects the building’s purpose and the needs of those it serves.”

Thoughtful planting schemes and carefully designed walkways transformed the site into a place of solace and tranquillity, offering comfort to visitors during sensitive moments.
