The landscaping works at Horizon 29 Bolsover Phase 1A in Derbyshire were designed to enhance the visual appeal of this major industrial and distribution development while delivering a practical, low-maintenance landscape solution. Spanning a 53-acre site with over 1.1 million sq ft of commercial space, the project required careful planning and large-scale implementation to create a high-impact environment for businesses operating across the East Midlands and the wider UK. Our team carried out extensive groundworks, including significant soil shifting and large-volume soil imports, before completing comprehensive planting works using plugs, whips, shrubs and semi-mature trees. Sustainability was a key focus throughout the project, with materials sourced from recycled products wherever possible. The finished landscape provides a professional, attractive setting that complements the scale of the development while supporting biodiversity and long-term site performance.
